Ghost Off!

Ghost Off! follows the Hillhead psychic Madame Ann-Marie Bain-Marie as she tries to win money by proving her skills, along with help from her son, to Greta who hosts a supernatural podcast.

The set was intricate and had more interesting elements that weren’t used. To create such an interesting set it seems a shame not to utilise it more. The plot started strong with a lot of jokes and some brilliant audience interaction. The highlight of the show was the audience interaction by Julie Coombe playing Madame Ann-Marie Bain-Marie at the beginning of the show. However, it began to run out of steam and got progressively less humorous over the hour.

Overall, a fun show that could have been stronger with more jokes and a tighter ending.
