At Your Service follows celebrity TV vicar, Derek Gritt, as he returns to his former Parish to conduct a funeral service for a local resident who may, or may not, be a witch.
The tech is one of the most impressive features of this show and really helps the spooky feeling Hughes creates. The music adds to the humour of the show and one particular song about vapes is extremely catchy and I haven’t been able to stop it going round my head since I saw the show.
The use of video elements really added to the story telling and allowed a more detailed and in depth character to be explored whilst the show was only performed by Hughes. There a few twists in this show which helped to round out the show as a complete story rather than feeling like disparate jokes.
I would highly recommend this spooky and hilarious show that balances real tension with great jokes and brilliant technical elements that make for a great hour of comedy.
