Tweeds

Tweeds follows a student hunting group who take on a new member. On the first outing the new member accidentally shoots the head of the club. When the club meets again the head returns from the dead and doesn’t appear to realise she has been shot.

The show had an interesting storyline but it was awkward in parts with long gaps or pauses where I wasn’t sure if anything was supposed to be happening or the pause was scripted. The members of the hunting club were surprisingly relaxed about the return of their dead club leader and appeared to brush it under the carpet extremely quickly.

Overall, it was an interesting piece with some good jokes. However, it had some pacing issues but I would be interested to see what this writer, Tabs Nixon, creates next as I suspect Nixon will just get better with each piece she writes.
