I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change chronicles various individuals and couples as they follow relationship moments such as first dates, getting married and dating again after the death of your partner.
Four actors play all the characters and the show has a few stand out songs and a lot of funny moments particularly at the beginning. The show starts to lose momentum and comedy towards the middle and it doesn’t pick up at the end. I ended up thinking the show may have worked better if the events in the musical had been played backwards.
Overall, an interesting and generally funny musical that could do with tightening up it’s last thirty minutes.
